The Art of Cross Stitch.

Cross stitch has been around for a long time. Traditionally known for items often seen at arts-and-crafts fairs, cross stitch had not previously been known as a medium for fine art.  However, as artists have proven throughout the century—and most enthusiastically at America’s arts schools—talent, determination, perspective, and imagination can transform many common forms into art.

A work in progress. It is not unusual to find Nathan stitching away on a new piece whenever he has a little "down time".

Art in Cross Stitch.

No kits; Nothing machine produced; Nothing mass produced. ---Just one-of-a-kind, Original ART!

What you are looking at are fine fiber-art productions done using the art of cross-stitching. After years of perfecting my craft and style, I have synthesized several processes into the creation of a single art form—capturing images through photos or drawings, creating a posterized display that is transferred to canvas, and then meticulously cross stitching the image into the canvas.

Each step, with the exception of posterizing the image, is done by hand—making it virtually impossible ever to have two art pieces that are absolutely alike.
